CBW Cattle Guard Project

Birch Creek Ltd. fabricated and installed cattle guards around tower legs of the CBW transmission line near Medicine Hat, Alberta. During this project our crews worked around energized and de-energized lines.

H37P Quality Assurance

Birch Creek Ltd. provided a QA team to support Aval Engineering with Quality Assurance on construction of the H37P transmission line by Dease Lake, British Columbia.

Shellmouth Dam Restoration

We worked as a subcontractor to perform repairs to the Shellmouth Dam, North of Russell, Manitoba. For this project, Birch Creek Ltd. performed tasks such as mobile welding, as well as provided labour workers to chip, clean and pour new concrete for the conduit and spillway at the Shellmouth Dam. This work was done for Manitoba Infrastructure.

LDM Foods

Birch Creek Ltd. designed, manufactured and installed custom security fencing for LDM Foods’ new facility in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

Medicine Hat Generation Station

Birch Creek Ltd. provided Third Party Inspections for a new Power Generation Station at the City of Medicine Hat, AB.  This involved on-site structural steel inspections of components during construction as well as source inspection at the fabrication plant.

Oilfield Services

Together with TJ Systems, we design various fencing systems, steel barricades and other products for the oil and gas industry. These products are marketed through supply stores, or sold directly to oil companies with delivery and set-up services being offered as well.

Regina By-Pass

Birch Creek Ltd. provided Construction Inspection and Quality Assurance for SaskPower during erection and removal of structures at several crossings on the new Regina By-pass.  BCL also performed Weld Inspections of structures at various locations throughout Saskatchewan.

Quality Inspection Services – SaskPower

Birch Creek Ltd. assisted SaskPower on a transmission project where powerline structures did not meet code.  We provided visual inspections and technical support to help them resolve the situation.

Animal Lounge, Calgary Airport

We designed, as well as fabricated and installed horse stalls for the quarantine station at the new International Animal Lounge, located at the Calgary International Airport. Birch Creek Ltd. also constructed a custom-designed portable equine handling system, and delivered and installed it at the Calgary International Airport.
